Our purpose is to support and advise people and organizations in relation to their personal and professional training and development, throughout their life.

Our purpose is to support and advise people and organizations in relation to their personal and professional training and development, throughout their life, whatever their initial level of knowledge and aspirations, in all the spheres present in the University of Barcelona.

The Institute of Lifelong Learning IL3-UB Foundation aspires to help people and, by extension, the organizations where they work, to become free, honest, critical professionals, sensitive to and responsible for their environment, capable of developing autonomously in a context of continuous changes and fluctuations. 

And for Society to recognize their three fundamental competences.

  • SEARCH FOR SOLUTIONS AND DECISION-MAKING:

    actively search for solutions and choose from among the different options, assessing possible alternatives, their effects and their risks. Act consequently, accepting responsibility for the decision made.

  • ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT:

    show the initiative, proactivity and perseverance necessary to promote innovative or change projects which add value in the personal, organizational or social sphere, with responsibility and focused on action and results.

  • DIGITAL COMPETENCE:

    make creative, critical and responsible use of the information and communication technologies in order to achieve the goals related to the professional and training sphere, the social context and digital identity.
