We are located in 22@, a driver of innovation in the city, where tradition and avant-garde converge. A privileged location in terms of its proximity to the main access roads to the city. Public transport links the district to the city centre in just a few minutes.
Our headquarters are located in the former Can Canela textile factory, whose unique architecture is in keeping with the industrial canons of the early 20th century. Currently, its interior has a usable area of more than 4,400 m2 that invites our students to enjoy large spaces in a pleasant and quiet environment.
SERVICES
We have a café-restaurant and a library with a collection of 3,200 volumes, as well as access to over 1.5 million publications from the various libraries of the University of Barcelona.
Our students and staff also have free Wi-Fi access throughout the building.
CLASSROOMS
The classrooms of the University of Barcelona Institute for Lifelong Learning are fully equipped to offer professional training programmes focused on the development of digital and practical skills. The Can Canela building also has new simulation classrooms, designed to recreate real situations to gain professional experience, as well as classrooms adapted to a blended learning format, where students can attend classes both face-to-face and synchronously remotely. The facilities also include a state-of-the-art videoconferencing room. All these facilities are available for companies or institutions that need a unique space for their events (in-house courses, meetings, etc.).
