The IL3-UB's mission

Our mission is to accompany and advise people and organisations in their training and personal and professional development throughout their lives.

Our mission is to accompany and advise people and organisations in their training and personal and professional development throughout their lives in all areas in which the University of Barcelona offers courses, no matter their level of knowledge or aspirations.

The University of Barcelona Institute for Lifelong Learning (IL3-UB) wants to be by the side of people and, by extension, the organisations where they work, to help them to become free, honest, critical, sensitive and responsible professionals, capable of independent growth in a context of continuous change and fluctuation.

It aspires to produce graduates in which society can recognise three core competencies.

    Make creative, critical and responsible use of information and communication technologies to achieve objectives related to the professional and educational sphere, the social context and digital identity.

Our strategic vision is to be a benchmark institution in the national and international market in multi-sector and online training, always with the aim of providing continuity and complementing the University of Barcelona's academic offer.
