Schools taking advantage of inclusive enabling technology

SHIFT

SHIFT

The aim of the project is to assess how teachers and lecturers transfer ICT competencies in an inclusive classroom, to ultimately gauge how digital skills support inclusion in the classroom. There is currently no transfer evaluation model for teacher in training.

The project results will be used to create a handbook with tools for assessing digital skills for inclusion in the classroom, as well as propose new learning pathways for teachers to acquire digital skills that favour inclusion.

Apart from being the project coordinator, the IL3-UB will also be participating as a vocational training expert in the evaluation and design process for the new learning pathways.

ACTIVEHIP

logo activehip

The aim of the project is to create a tool and educational programme to empower patients and help them recover from hip fractures. Designed in conjunction with patients, caregivers and physicians, the programme specifically aims to help prevent secondary fractures. The tool works remotely, monitored by health professionals, for those patients who need assistance after leaving the hospital.

The programme includes a selection of specific exercise videos as well as recommendations from nutrition experts, follow-up medication guidelines and strategies to establish an appropriate environment for the best possible rehabilitation. Through the programme, users can also participate in videoconferences with other people recovering from fractures, as well as with caregivers and specialised health professionals.

Based on a methodology of co-creation with young people, YEAH will provide them with tools to actively participate in innovation and clinical research processes, while empowering them to make their own decisions.

IL3-UB will be responsible for designing the co-creation sessions and developing the toolkit for young people aged 12 to 18.
